I am a transplant from Buffalo, NY.... now living in Clemmons NC. I am new to the area, and although single and looking, would love new friends to show me around the area. A particularly special person showed me something that I didn't know about myself. I'm a sucker for passionate people. PASSION!! I mean emotionally, sexually (those two couldn't really be separate in this sense), or just plain passionate about making something of life. I know, now, that a relationship without this type of passion will never suffice for me. Lethargic persons need not apply for a relationship. Be strong. Be independent. But don't loose the passion for intimacy. A relationship isn't just finding someone who will show up to the party. You have to participate¡¿

My true goal is to share life. I'm looking for someone that is independent, but who wants a companion as a significant part of balance in their life. Eventually I would like to have children to carry forwards and the family experience. I must admit, though, I'm not done exploring this world. There are just too many things out there waiting to be discovered.

I love movies/film. I enjoy lots of sports like any other guy. I love a great workout and the satisfation you get when your leaving the gym. Music is very important to me and I listen to it every single day. It helps me cope with whatever is happening in my life. I also try to paint from time to time because i find it very relaxing. I get a kick outta making people laugh and smile. I enjoy a good joke. You should laugh every single day.

I never know what three words I could use to discribe myself to make myself seem interesting. For tonight, I'm boycotting the request to put myself in a box with three random words that may or may not accurately discribe who I am as a human being. Ha, I feel liberated!

I was born and raised in Southern California. I moved to Clemmons in 2007 with my dad, and started going to school at Salem College. I realized the all female environment was not a good fit for me, so now Iâ??m working full time 9-5 and I really enjoy it.
I can be pretty quiet at first, but Iâ??m far from shy. I would say I have a fairly small shame gland, because I have double the awesome gland. Iâ??d say Iâ??m pretty witty, with a quick and subtle sense of humor. My humor is known for catching others off guard, and making them laugh until they cry. Iâ??m not a fan of crazy (except the kind I can laugh hysterically at). I avoid conflict like the plague Iâ??d like to think Iâ??m pretty spectacular under pressure, and dissolving akward situations. Iâ??m pretty good at being a jackass, but itâ??s endearing, I promise. At the end of the day, you either love me or hate me, but Iâ??m loved far more than hated. More often than not, itâ??s a mutual feeling. Give me a couple chances before you write me off completely. Sound good? Then keep reading.

i try to improve myself everyday: learn something new, explore some obscure action or thought of mine, work out, read or find new music. i consider a day wasted when i fail to do so. that's not to say i haven't wasted a day in my life. i've wasted plenty. and usually because of the tv. sometimes i wish i didn't have cable. then i watch it's always sunny in philadelphia and realize why i put up with it.

i dislike redundancy. and bad movies that bust the box office. those twilight movies are bad. why do they make so much money? it's that kind of hollywood drool that is starving the real artists out there. mass media can be good at uniting a large group of people, but when movies have to be molded to attract someone from every single demographic, squeezing out any unique, potentially controversial content, i get a little sad. i'm not implying i'm an artist. i just enjoy creativity.

I grew up around here. But then I moved around for a while after school. I never could find that place where I felt I belonged, so I moved back here. Recently, tried dating again, only to fall into a failing relationship with a failure of a human being. And now I'm finding myself picking up the pieces again after being taken pretty big. Hey, I have three children ( all girls ) whom I share custody of. I work Thursday-Wednesday one week on then one week off 12 hour days... It sucks sometimes but the every other week off is GREAT! I was born and raised in Europe but have lived a bit all over the world. I now live in NC where I work. I am a competitive swimmer (24 years and counting) and rather athletic in general. I enjoy swimming, running, tennis, racquetball, rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving, horse riding among others. I am quite active; I actively train (swimming, 6 times a week) and run at least 4 times a week. I also love the ocean and the beach. I value intellect, compassion, and a sense of humor over appearance. Sexy is in the eye of the beholder, don't you think? Now, that's not to say I don't appreciate a good-looking man as much as the next woman. But looks without the entire package, is just wrapping paper.

I am energetic, healthy, intelligent and a sucker for kids and animals. I've never found a stray of any species I didn't love. I think anyone who knows anything about me would say that I'm different -- good different.
